MEANT TO B was launched in 2011 in London by Bernice Angelique, designer and CEO. Bernice pursued her passion and studied handbag manufacture and design at the London College of Fashion in 2007. Originally from South Africa, Bernice wanted to create a luxury product from the local exotic ostrich hides. After many years developing her talents, MEANT TO B was born.
 
MEANT TO B offers the ultimate luxury handbag experience - we offer a bespoke service. Customers may choose a bag from our collection which is available in over 400 colours of ostrich leather.

As part of our bespoke service, your name may be embossed inside your bag. MEANT TO B handbags are handcrafted especially for you by artisans in Southern Africa. We are passionate about creating job opportunities for women in Southern Africa and improving the quality of life of our staff. We work in harmony with the natural environment and will continually strive to reduce our impact on the environment.
